A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. Benefit Summary
 

Health Insurance We offer CareFirst HMO and CareFirst Blue Cross BlueShield (PPO) to our employees. With low $10.00 office co-pay for HMO and $10.00 co-pay for in-network physicians and specialists, your health needs will be affordably met. This coverage also includes prescription and vision benefits.
Dental Insurance We offer Delta Dental, with a choice of a HMO and PPO/indemnity plan, which allows you go to the dentist of your choice.
Life Insurance We provide a $50,000 life insurance policy through The Hartford, paid by the company for all full-time regular employees.
Short Term & Long Term Disability Insurance In cases of injury or illness where our employee is unable to perform the duties of their job, The Hartford disability insurance will pay 60% of weekly wages upon determination of disability for all full-time regular employees. This benefit is paid by the company.
Child-Dependant Care/Medical Expense Reimbursement Accounts Use pre-tax dollars to pay for daycare/eldercare expenses or for out of pocket medical expenses. This benefit allows employees to reduce their taxable income and realize tax savings.
401(k) Plan A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. offers its employees the opportunity to participate in a retirement plan administered through Mass Mutual. After six months of service, employees working at least 1,000 hours per year may begin making pre-tax contributions to the plan effective the first day of the month following six months of employment. Upon completion of six months service, the company will begin making a contribution of 1% of employee earnings to the plan. In addition, the company will match the first 6% of pay that employees save at a rate of $.50 for each $1.00 saved.
Vacation 10 days per year through the fifth year of employment. 15 days for 6-10 years of employment and 20 days after 11 years of service.
Sick Leave Sick leave accrues at 3.70 hours per month for a total of 6 days per year for all regular, full-time employees. Part time employees working 20 hours or more earn 3 days of sick leave.
EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Employees and their families may access a network of mental health workers and other providers to assist them in addressing work-life balance issues. This service is completely confidential and free of charge to employees.
Holidays

The Company observes the following holidays per year

  • New Year's Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Fourth of July

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Day after Thanksgiving

  • Christmas Eve (1/2 day)

  • Christmas Day

Tuition Reimbursement Dwoskin shall reimburse eligible employees for the lesser of up to $3,000 or four courses per calendar year for costs related to tuition, books, and certain fees for approved job related or degree-oriented course work.
Housing Discount 25%-100% Housing Discount available to Residential Field Personnel.
Additional Benefits A.J. Dwoskin & Associates also provides insurance in the form of Worker's Compensation insurance, unemployment insurance as well as the employer match of FICA (Social Security) tax.
