Stuart Woods Promotes Civic Awareness at National Night Out
On August 7th, Stuart Woods celebrated National Night Out, a campaign involving citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials. The purpose of the program is to strengthen neighborhood spirit and promote police-community partnerships. Over 34 million people participated in NNO. Stuart Woods hosted a NNO celebration for community residents with a cookout, and lots of festivities including a moon bounce, dunk tank, and parade of police cars, public works trucks, and tanks.
