Gainsborough Court, Copperfield Square & Churchill Mews Celebrate National Night Out
Each August, neighbors and police nationwide join together to celebrate National Night Out Against Crime. NNO has proven to be an effective and enjoyable program to strengthen neighborhood spirit and promote police-community partnerships. An estimated 34 million people participate annually in National Night Out. Gainsborough Court, Copperfield Square and Churchill Mews Apartments & Townhomes hosted a joint NNO celebration for community residents with a hamburger cookout and cool refreshing sno-cones. Both the young and the young at heart enjoyed meeting McGruff the Crime Dog, local law enforcement officers and firefighters, and the giant 20 foot inflatable fire truck slide was the hit of the party!
