President and Chief Executive Officer

Albert J. Dwoskin

Albert J. Dwoskin is President and CEO of A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. Since founding the company in 1967, the primary focus of operations has been the development, ownership and management of neighborhood-serving retail centers and multifamily properties in Northern Virginia. Mr. Dwoskin is also involved in several organizations and currently serves of the boards of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. His broad involvement in other organizations has allowed him to bring innovative ideas and thought processes into our daily operations and management of the assets.

Michelle Fearn

Michelle has over 20 years of progressive human resources management experience, working on both sides of the Canadian-US border. She joined A.J. Dwoskin & Associates as a strategic business partner in 2010. She has a passion for creating positive change and has a proven track record for achieving results. Michelle graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Management, and she currently holds professional human resources certifications with SHRM, HRCI, and HRPA.

Executive Vice President of Leasing & Acquisitions

Michael McGregor

With over 25 years of real estate asset management experience in retail and multi-family, Michael has overseen the commercial portfolio’s performance for the past six years at A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. Michael’s prior experience includes leading teams and managing a property portfolio in excess of $1 Billion for nine years, specializing in turning around distressed and value-added assets. His prior experience also includes working for a public REIT in development. Michael offers strong asset management skills that include acquisition, development, leasing, property management, and disposition of both retail and multi-family properties.

Vice President of Development

Roni Robins

Roni brings years of experience to her role, serving as VP of Development at A.J. Dwoskin from 1985-1992 and rejoining from 1994 to the present. She offers expertise in land use and site planning, feasibility studies, entitlements, development coordination, community relations and use permits. Roni’s educational experience includes a MBA from Rice University, a Masters of Urban and Environmental Planning from University of Virginia, as well as an undergraduate degree from UVA.

Vice President of Accounting & Finance

Natalia Ostroveanu

Natalia oversees all corporate and property accounting operations as well as financial and investor reporting. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting, including over 15 years in the real estate industry. Natalia joined the A.J. Dwoskin & Associates team in 2006. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from University of Craiova, Romania and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, USA.

Vice President of Information Technology

Lisa Kolb

Lisa Taylor Kolb began working with A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. in 2008 as an I.T. Consultant. Prior to coming on-board, she was the Director of Applications, Development and Support at The Charles E. Smith Companies until beginning her own consulting practice. As a consultant, Lisa worked on major projects with industry leaders including JBGS, Gates Hudson and BMC in addition to implementing applications and providing support to A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc. With over 20 years of experience working in Residential, Commercial, Retail and Office Management, she offers a wealth of knowledge both technically and operationally to enhance the overall organizations processes focusing on efficiencies and profitability. Lisa is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University – Smeal College of Business with degrees in Finance, Economics and Accounting.

Michael Dean

Michael joined A.J. Dwoskin & Associates in 1998, after ten years in private practice focusing mainly in civil litigation. Michael is a graduate of Haverford College (B.A.) and the University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.).

Director of Construction & Commercial Operations

Ted Satterthwaite

Ted has 25 years of commercial construction experience specializing in the retail and hospitality industries. In his current role as Director of Construction & Commercial operations, Ted provides management and support to both the Commercial and Residential Teams.

Director of Residential Operations

Melanie Conley

With a career spanning over 18 years in multi-family property management, Melanie is a multi-dimensional, results driven leader who oversees residential portfolio operations at A.J. Dwoskin & Associates. Her experience includes oversight of multi-million dollar, high grossing assets in Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia. With a determined commitment to stakeholders, Melanie focuses her impactful leadership on reform and advancement of organizational objectives.

Director of Residential Operations

Carlos Baez

Carlos brings over 15 years of property management expertise to the A.J. Dwoskin team. He is responsible for the operations and assets management of the residential portfolio. In his past experience as a Property Manager, Carlos oversaw several property types and classes to include Class A, B, C and LIHTC properties in Virginia. He is also responsible for the full day-to-day operations of the Stuart Woods Apartments located in Herndon, Virginia.

Marketing Director

Lindsay Gilbert

Lindsay has been with A.J. Dwoskin & Associates since 2009. Her experience as a summer intern led to a career in property management. Her time in residential leasing and exposure to multifamily operations have helped hone and perfect the residential marketing techniques she brings to the company today. She manages all marketing initiatives for A.J. Dwoskin & Associates including the commercial, residential and corporate avenues. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.

Arthur Matarazzo

Arthur has been in real estate for over 30 years, with a retail background including work for Dayton Hudson/Target. He was the Retail Operations Manager for 40,000 sq. ft. Target location. He has also previously served as General Manager of Lakeforest Mall for Taubman Companies
